yeah, cause it's Frontiers fault that there were storms towering to about 50,000 feet across Kansas, Nebraska, and South Dakota, which can essentially shut down both arrival and departure corridors. Which means the incoming traffic most likely went north and south of Denver (and I mean way north, like via Gillette WY and way south, like Pueblo) and then via the western arrival corridors. With those tied up for incoming traffic, which BTW, is going to have priority, since, y'know, they have a fuel situation, it's no wonder Ohj's flight was delayed. Quite frankly, I'm surprised he was only delayed by that much.

Clearly! Actually, it's more the gate worker and flight attendants' fault. I hope the passengers took it out on them.

"Folks from the flight deck here...we have a maintenance issue because our parent company, Republic Airways Holdings, is too cheap to take care of these issues before they make your life inconvenient. If you would like the address of our company, I'll be happy to give it to you so you can write a complaint letter to our CEO, Bryan Bedford. We do apologize for this, it's not our fault. If it was up to us, we'd go."
That was more or less what I said in San Antonio the other day.

the airplane wouldn't have crashed cause of this. We could have flown just fine...the FAA tells us though we had to have a maintenance guy come out and write it up

Face it: this was an abortion of flight experiences. And it wasn't just The Ohj. There were at least a dozen people on the same flight who went through this. And that doesn't include the people who were stuck at DIA overnight (The Ohj guessed about 40-50) due to this debacle. Nice industry.

oh agreed, the industry has gone to *t real quick. But it's happened for a reason...ultimately, the consumer has demanded everything be cheaper, so airlines have cut everything. There are fewer gate agents, fewer ramp personnel, and the flight attendants they hire are of poor quality. If customers want this to change, they have to make the change with their wallets.

Not sure where you're going here with lower airfare. I haven't found any flights recently that would qualify as cheap.
