905. this party si quickly devonving into a mess. 5 beers, 6 hots of soju (it's like vokda but korean), 3 hsots ov vocka, 2 shots of tequila.

So........ummm........I guess not smoking doesn't suck quite as much as I thought it would. Hooray for Chantix and no subsequent suicide ideation.

So the Chantix really works?
I've been trying to quit for a month or two now, but haven't made it longer than like.. 3 days. :/

Put it this way. My previous high (other than the 11 days after my tonsillectomy 4 years ago) was like 22 hours. I'm at 46 1/2 hours with no cigarettes right now and the cravings are VERY tolerable.

So I was getting my hair cut about 90 minutes ago, and the chick asks me where I want my sideburns cut. I tell that I'd rather not have them shortened as I've just started growing a beard and that would somewhat defeat the intent of what I'm doing. Without missing a beat, and either delivering the best, driest line ever, or being totally sincere asks me, "Did you lose a bet." I think she was being sincere as it took her a few seconds until she finally added, "Or do you do this every year?"

Ouch.

Yes. I saw her there tonight, too. Or, rather, she saw me. I didn't recognize her until she called out to me. Luckily, it was as I was heading out to pay and then hot foot it out to my car (or "cah" is Bostonian).

how can you be addicted to something when it impossible for you to have used in the first place longer than 17 yrs?!?!?:confused:

:p

(even if you have smoked for 17 yrs, it wouldn't be that hard to stop;) )
