Re: TRP: Hell Greyhound Bus Ride

I just got positive rep from a post I made in 2007. That was random.

Scarlet - have you made a dinner reservation for Thanksgiving yet? I keep seeing new listings for restaurants that are serving Thanksgiving dinner and I'm not sure whether to keep passing them along to you. :)

Not yet. I was going to call that one place right now as a matter of fact. Where are these new places?

A little out of the way, but Prime Meats is supposed to be quite good. Union Smith is also cute and tasty.

This was in AM New York recently.

This is from Time Out. See also links at the bottom for non-traditional restaurants and international restaurants.

And this is also about Prime Meats, mentioned above in the Brokelyn link.

The restaurants in the "traditional thanksgiving meals" Time Out link are all highly regarded, though not cheap, as you see. Bar Americain is the only one I've been to, and it was an excellent meal. I don't have as much to add about the places in the other lists.

To everyone else: Sorry for posting all this here; yes, I know you don't care. :p

Edit: This was too good not to link. This Irish bar is injecting their turkeys with 100-proof flavored vodka, and serving it with vodka-infused gravy as well. So, if you want to be the cool aunt who gets her niece drunk while she's underage, this is a good bet.

Thanks for these! Interesting that the Time Out New York link has a Macy's Parade guide and they list Kitchenette as a kid-friendly recommended place.

And your Techie Text Of The Day:

(727): She called me Spock and proceeded to ask me to 'teach her the ways of the force'. I just couldn't do it after that. No way am I *ing a girl who can't tell the difference between Star Wars and Star Trek.

Wait, those are 2 different things?

Looks like I'm never getting laid at Tech.

Big blue, ctf. ctf, big blue.

I'll leave you two alone. :p
I said at Tech. ;) He's no longer at Tech, plus I don't meet his age requirement.

Irregardless, I've never seen any Star Wars or Star Trek movies.
or Lord of the Rings or Harry Potter, for that matter.
