...and a terrible WCHA officiating crew made it happen with a comically botched call disallowing a perfectly good goal.

Well I'm back from the Left Coast.

One thing I've learned by driving 11,000 miles across 21 states: this is one big *** country.

Just put the truck in the garage. The cold front is moving in here in a hurry. It was 85 on Thursday. It's going to be 49 here tomorrow.

When I went outside something caught my eye, and I looked up. I'm in the middle of the city, streetlights and porch lights are on all around me, and I can still see every star in the sky. For some reason it amazes me just how big the world is.

/random thought.

One of the first times I made it north of Two Harbors MN, I ended up where you couldn't see the glow of the city lights, and there was ZERO noise. Stars were out, and it was amazing. I think it was the first time in my life that there was NOTHING but quiet and stars. Definitely an awesome feeling.

It was 71 today here. Tomorrow is forecast for 44, and Tuesday is supposed to be 70 again. Weird cold front. And we have a bunch of people in town from India tomorrow for a big meeting. They chose the wrong day.

One of my fiancee's best friends just had a baby girl named Sophia Rose. Does it make me gay if my first thought was "those are two of the Golden Girls"?
