(fixed)

HEIL! to those donkey rapers!
HEIL! to those masturbators!
HEIL! HEIL! To Michigan
The cesspool of the east!

HEIL! to those auto workers!
HEIL! to those circle jerkers!
HEIL! HEIL! to Michigan
The cesspool of the east!
You could see how MNS wouldn't go with "heil" though, given that, as a UND grad, people might mistake him for an actual Nazi.

Also: not the east. :p

I did send WPoS a picture last spring and talked to him about it at the FF last year; I think I was actually supposed to get in touch with him when I got home, and he was going to send me a pair of can holders to replace the jury-rigged ones I made, but things started to get serious with my fiancee and I sort of lost track of it.

You got your priorities real mixed up this time.

Re: TRP: Changing Conferences Since 1999

jmh, I found out more about the coworker who played in the Mets organization. I can't tell you his name, since I'm not posting a coworker's name on an internet message board. He started with the Mets Academy in the Dominican Republic and made it as high as AA, which was when he was 19 or 20, so he was actually really **** good. He was throwing low 90's with 5 pitches when he was 17. Sounds like he probably would be in the majors now if he didn't wreck his arm.

Rough break about the arm... happens to so many talented young pitchers. How old is he now?

I don't know his exact age, but I would guess he's about 25. He just started working, right out of college after getting a 4 year degree, so 25 seems to make sense.

Are his initials GM or RM? (Yes, I went through past Mets minor league rosters to see if I could figure out who it is.)
