For anyone else who has an iPhone - do pictures you take with the phone's camera get downloaded to a PC automatically when you sync? If so, where on your computer do they go?

no...when you connect your phone it gives you that little prompt and then it lists your iphone as a portable device like a jump drive or hard drive. You navigate there from "my computer" and get into the photos that way
