For some, no. A buddy of mine who smokes a TON, and smoked for most of his life (he may have quit now; last I knew he smoked was a couple years ago), has a very successful career in the sports field. At an expensive private school (meaning, they are picky, because they can be).

But in her case, it's not helping. Smoking up is arguably no worse for you than alcohol. It may be better in some cases, it may be worse in others (not talking for truly medicinal purposes, obviously).

I have a feeling that Tuesday night bar trivia is going to seriously curtail the productivity of my Wednesday mornings for the next couple of months.

Has anyone ever eaten at a Smashburger? They're making their way into the NYC area and I'm trying to figure out whether they're worth the trip.

Okay burgers, but pricey. Made to order, meat is "smashed" against the grill, hence the name. Really cool staff - if you dine in, they'll come around and chat you up.

I'd still take Five Guys, though. Or In-N-Out.

Given that the nearest Steak and Shake to where I live is in Northern Virginia, and the nearest In-N-Out is in Salt Lake City, I'm not sure how that's useful information.

I agreed to eat at a Taco John's tonight. I am very much regretting that decision right about now.

Uh... sorry?
Maybe it was just what I got, or maybe it was this particular location, but my system is not liking it.
I can definitely see it being a prime place to go for drunken munchies/hangover food, though.

I like the crunchy chicken and potato burrito with a huge order of potato olays. Their breakfast burritos are also excellent.

so THAT'S why it's the Taco Johns Event Center! (we found a hockey rink in Cheyenne when we drove up there for our sprint triathlon)

worst fast food ever. I'd eat McDonalds, Arbys, and Old Country Buffet 10 times before I would eat Taco Johns
