Re: TRP: Alcohol-Induced Impotence

Anyone remember the Sneaker Pimps? For some reason, I have TWO of their songs stuck in my head. I hadn't heard anything of theirs in at least ten years.

I looked up the songs I have stuck in my head on YouTube to listen them through. Sometimes it helps get rid of the earworm, sometimes it makes it worse. I am pretty sure the latter has happened. Balls.

Re: TRP: Alcohol-Induced Impotence

So, our system at work crashed today. For the last 5 hours of the day. Tomorrow we all get to go in an hour early, and hope to cram over 1.5 days of work into a day. While missing a couple key people due to vacations and such. Wonderful.

Re: TRP: Alcohol-Induced Impotence

Tomorrow I need to go to my property management company and try to get out of my lease 3 months early. Should be interesting. Anyone have any tips on helping my effort?

If it's a rental (like an apt), kiss your deposit goodbye, and probably at least a month's rent. I had to break a lease yearrrrrrs ago, kind of out of my control, and that's what happened.

Tell them that you don't think it is good for your health to live in an apartment that has been used to cook meth for the last 4 months.

I figured my deposit is probably gone, but for as ****ty as they've been fixing stuff (documented down to the time of my service requests) plus I'm giving them a month's notice, I hope they're a little open to letting me out.

Do you ever have a good day of work? or do we just hear about the bad days?

I have great days at work. But why vent about those? :p

In fact, Monday was great, and yesterday wasn't bad at all, minus a half-hour stretch. :)

I had a good day of work today...and it really didn't have anything to do with work. ;)
Oh? Did you see a hill today?

In fact, Monday and Tuesday were great days at work, and yesterday wasn't bad at all, minus a half-hour stretch. :)
but of course. Seems like crappy days are once a week.

A crappy day is spending an hour opening biohazard envelopes with cards inside that have **** smeared on them and then adding drops of developer to them to see if the **** has any blood in it (a blue color develops within a few seconds if it's a positive test result).

So every day? :p
Those weren't hills. Those were dikes to stop the flooding waters.

Brent is right!
