Re: TRP: Alcohol-Induced Impotence

How the **** did they get into a sixteen team tournament? I thought they were #26. :p
And they still have never scored a goal in the tourney. Maybe they should have been lower than 26. I mean, a week ago Bemidji beat Duluth.

Gah, you couldn't have warned us that she's a Cleveland Brown?

Holy crap...QFT. Yes, I would still have sex with that.

Gotta love the guy spamming the D1 page about UNH. Obviously no one from the Admin is online during the freaking regional final.

Re: TRP: Alcohol-Induced Impotence

Few things are as exciting as finding a take-out box in the fridge that wasn't there before.

Few things are depressing as finding a side salad inside.

Okay, the Geico "Is the pen mightier than the sword?" commercial is right up there with Sgt. Hartman as the therapist.

I've got to ask you about the ***** mightier. Gussy it up however you want, Trebek, what matters is, does it work? Will it really mighty my *****, man? Because I've ordered products like that before, wasted a pretty penny, I don't mind telling you. And if this ***** mightier of yours really works, I'll order a dozen!

Overall, though, they are really reaching. They struck gold a couple times, but that well is dry with most of what they've come up with. It's no Old Spice or Most Interesting Man In The World worthy.

The pen is mightier is the only one that has rivaled the woodchucks so far.

Re: TRP: Alcohol-Induced Impotence

So I confirmed it today with my brother the mechanic: The Fifth is getting some work done and a little facelift during the F4! :D New soft-top (well, it will be ordered), new (bigger) tires, and some minor repairwork internally. The only thing I'd have to do is get a new CD player in it, as mine died a while back; it lasted about 10 years, so it was a good run.

I would advise a new stereo with an auxiliary jack. I've been looking around, and it seems to be the way to go (I'm probably 8 years behind the times here - I'm a quasi-tech guy for a financial company who doesn't keep up on play tech). I'm tired of keeping a stash of CDs in my car.

My currently dead CD player didn't even play MP3s. If my new one does that, I'm good. It's not like I often drive anywhere, for the most part (80K, it's a '99). And in the morning on the way to work, I listen(ed) to the morning shows.

And I don't own an MP3 player nor a smartphone.

My car's a '00, and the CD player is the same way, except it works.

I do have an MP3 player, and that's why I thought about getting a new stereo with an aux jack. And I think my smart phone is smarter than my computer (it's old), because the phone doesn't seem to link to the thing for anything more constructive than recharging the battery. Or I'm just dumb. I don't discount that last bit at all.

Funny thing is, when I bought my CD player, it was top of the line (thanks NFL gambling winnings!). Remote control, I dunno how many buttons to do sh*, it was one of those ones where the face "folded" out when you turned it on, graphics equalizer display when you chose the option to have the face "closed," etc.

I just want a basic one, now. Realized I really don't need all the bells and whistles, as cool as they are.

Re: TRP: Alcohol-Induced Impotence

I'm not a bells and whistles kind of guy either, but I would like a car stereo with an aux input jack. It'd be nice to not make mixed discs anymore. I suck at that.

I'm awesome at that. Even back in the cassette days. :o
