State police have issued message to folks in Watertown: don't answer the door unless it's a cop. call 911 if somebody knocks. Sure sounds like somebody's on the loose doesn't it? What are the odds this prik survives?

There's no particular rush. They have established what I assume is a very deep perimeter. Naturally, you have to worry about hostages no matter when the door to door starts. Daylight would force him indoors.

Is it hubris or stupidity that they apparently stayed in Boston? Or were they left high and dry by their "handlers" (if any)?

I doubt I'll be able to go on. There's stuff we need to know, since CNN has video of a naked suspect being loaded into a cop car. He was walking under his own power. Is that the same guy who died? If so, how? If it's not the guy who died, then we're back to 3 people: the one who died, the one on the loose and the one arrested and stripped.

I don't know... I think a little of both. I'm guessing they didn't think they were going to be caught. Once they saw their faces on TV and flipped the fuck out. Packed their **** and tried to make a run for it once it got dark.

Sounds right. Occam's razor is almost always on the nose. Except now we're either talking about 3 suspects or a suspect who died in police custody.

Boston Police commisioner has confirmed Suspect 1 is dead and Suspect 2 is still at large.

I'm getting reports that both prone clothed guy and naked guy were in the wrong palce at the wrong time
Boston PD has now confirmed black hat guy is dead.
White hat guy is on the run.

Okay, so we had an earlier incident, the shooting & hand grenades, etc. where black hat guy got his. Naked guy was, as you say, just unlucky. You can understand why cops want to wait 'till light to go after white hat. He's killed innocent civilians. He's killed a cop. And he's obviously willing to kill more cops. You don't want to come up on him at night, when he's got cover and concealment.

Only "enhanced" interrogation techniques would get any answers from this putz, IMO. He's undoubtedly willing to die. Where we might get some useful information about him is his computer, associates, etc. If he was receptive, we could make a deal, get the info, then renege.

Nope. They tried to rob a 7-11 tonight. That's how this all started. The "black" guys that killed the MIT cop earlier tonight were these guys.
