Trouble at Boston Marathon?

Re: Trouble at Boston Marathon?

A CNN photographer says the one suspect cuffed and stuffed was made to strip naked before he was taken away. This is not normal police procedure, obviously. One in custody. One still on the loose, apparently. The CNN guy speculates the arrested suspect looks more like Suspect #1 than anyone else.

Take this with a PLANET-SIZED grain of salt.

Andrew Kaczynski @BuzzFeedAndrew
RT @AnandWrites @CNN's Gabe Ramirez reporting that police saying at least one of the suspects matches description of#BostonMarathon suspect

Can't believe that the other nets are asleep on this. Some heads may roll.

I guarantee broadcast nets are following this. The fact that we have cable nets raises the bar on when they'll go live, especially well outside of normal broadcast time. The A team has gone home.

I heard him make the report. Says he looks like "Suspect #1". Also said he was made to strip completely before being arrested. Cavity search upcoming?

You know, earlier this evening I was going to post that it seemed probable that with all the universities in the Boston area, that the Feebs would check on foreign students, to see if there was a connection to S#1 and S#2.

Ok, the scanner is awesome. 20 cops at one spot, waiting to respond. WTeFF?

I meant the cable nets. Both MSNBC & Faux have now picked it up.

This late, they might not want to run with anything that might not be all the way correct. They figure they can have the story straight for the morning shift. Now, if it was a little earlier, then yeah, they would be all over this shibby.

Re: Trouble at Boston Marathon?

This is.....nope. Not gonna even TRY to say the words. I have none. This is insane.

Re: Trouble at Boston Marathon?

CNN is all over this like a cheap suit. They're redeeming themselves after reporting an arrest in the Monday bombing and earlier reporting SCOTUS had voted down Obamacare.

Let's look at the chain of events. The FBI releases pictures of two suspects. Within a few hours we have some sort of incident at MIT which results in the death of a police officer. Then the action moves to Watertown. With gunfire, and reportedly, explosions. We have massive, inter-agency police participation which far exceeds what you would expect for merely (no disrespect intended) the killing of a police officer. And a suspect arrested and made to strip. What does that add up to? Makes me optimistic they've broken the bombing case. Fingers crossed.

Certainly anyone who would blow up innocent people with the bomb is not likely to shrink back as the prospect of killing a cop.
