Does anybody know who that mouthy twerp was at the Deslauriers newser this afternoon? Alex Jones clone? Howard Stern? Tinfoil hat brigade? I think they need to check the press credentials a bit more carefully.

Also, once again Dan Bidondi from Alex Jones' conspiracy wacko theory website disrupted the press conference, shouting over other reporters trying to get information. As soon as I can get video of it, we'll post it, though it was quite difficult to hear or understand what he was trying to say.

This is a nationally televised news conference we're talking about here. Conducted by the F-B-freaking-I! Why in the "wide world of sports" would they let him in a second time? Nobody has the stones to simply tell him to go peddle his papers?

Fox reporting EMS has responded to the MIT campus. An MIT officer reportedly wounded by his own gun after a struggle. State troopers are on the scene. Fox now saying the shooter was a suspected robber. Developing.

The MIT thing is not at all related to the bombings. I've been listening to the boston police scanner from before the shooting went down.

Okay. Maybe it was too much to hope for that they'd cornered Abdul at his computer carrel. And had blown his sh*t clean away.

Rumor is that it was a robber of sorts (GPL post said Fox News reporting this, I don't have a link)

It was some guy who stole a cop's gun. I listened to the cop who got shot (or someone on scene) frantically scream "officer down" and beg for help.

Also, for the record, the shooting suspects are black. (To slam the door shut on any possible bombing connection.)
