You forgot the part where he was trying to foil a human body part snatching scheme.

Truthfully I stopped reading when I got to "Elvis impersonator." As they say in Louisiana, anything that followed was lagniappe.

Remember in the wake of OkC, we saw and heard a lot about "militias"? One of the guiding philosophical lights of that "movement" was "Mark from Michigan," who did a short wave talk show from a booth at an I-Hop. Turns out he was a janitor at the University of Michigan. I stopped reading.

Re: Trouble at Boston Marathon?

I was thinking about this release of images. I'm thinking one of a couple scenarios has played out:
1. They are at a dead end (or things are moving as fast as they want) and need help identifing the suspects
2. They are worried the guy(s) might have jumped town already in the confusion that followed the attacks.
3. They are worried about the public trying to play FBI and identifying the wrong people, vigilantes doing something incredibly stupid, and damaging the investigation.

Re: Trouble at Boston Marathon?

Assuming these two guys actually did plant the bombs, what does that mean for our analysis of the event? I think it pushes us closer to the conclusion that it was Islamist in nature. Two bombers obviously rules out Eric Rudolph types. Two bombers also pushes us in the direction of planning and coordination. And that pushes us in the direction of some sort of group. Not definitively, of course, but it's beginning to look Islamist to me.

The pictures I posted aren't great. Go to the FBI link I posted (if you can get through to the site). They really look like a couple of relatively young white kids.

They contacted the two guys. They didn't do it. http://www.nypost.com/p/news/national/investigators_determine_marathon_Pu15seYXiNS1fIyqbRWlLK

But even if they are "young white kids," that doesn't automatically rule out Islamism as a motive. John Walker Lindh was a "young white kid" and if we hadn't busted his a*s in Afghanistan, he might have been toting a bomb on Monday.

Re: Trouble at Boston Marathon?

Don't look like the same guys to me. Alex Jones has an answer to this question, of course, but why would the FBI release photos of "suspects" who have already been cleared?

The police cleared the two guys who were shown on the front page of the NY Post. The pictures of those two guys were never released for the public, the Post just ran with it.

The two guys in the FBI pictures and video released today have not been cleared and are still considered suspects.

That's my understanding. As I say, they don't look like the same two, especially "white hat" guy. One of the misidentified guys turns out to be a 17-year old who runs on his high school track team.

Uh Oh, just saw a report that RicinMan was also a part time janitor. Has "Mark from Michigan" migrated? Or is this some sort of conspiracy by mop pushers? Film at 11:00.
