Transfers for 2012-13

Re: Transfers for 2012-13

IIRC, the NCAA rules state this exemption clearly that you can sit out for this in Olympic years only and then get exempted for the doing 4 years in 5 as well. Depending on how the calendar falls you could end up doing this twice in your college career. Jenner and Agosta are examples that fit those timetables of oding it twice. Both delayed the start of their college career until the year after the olympics, and then they delay again their last year of eligibility.

He is referring to the Lammy twins....but they were enrolled in NoDak, taking online courses, which met the requirement of sitting out for a year.

I was told by a player that the day after she was leaving BSU contacted her. Of coarse it could have been the other way around. I'm also sure things have to be worked out. Maybe/probably sit a year?
This too is now official... Steph Anderson is now listed on the BSU roster. Per WCHA regulations for in-conference transfers, she will have to sit out the 2012-2013 season but will retain her remaining three years of eligibility.
