Cornell has been all over the map, looking anywhere from great to abysmal. At #4 in USCHO, they are overrated. We'll see what the next poll looks like -- I think right now they are somewhere 8-10.

How is it this thread has gone six pages and only one person has mentioned Ferris State? They have the highest winning percentage in the country BUT they are 0-3-2 against teams under consideration. That means they have gone 16-1 against The Little Sisters of the Poor but can't beat a single team win the top 25 in the Pairwise. (There are only 58 D-1 college hockey teams) This weekend's match against Miami will be telling, or at least would have been if Miami didn't collapse against Robert Morris' JV Water Polo squad.

I believe BRIS was mentioned earlier. I was hoping to get a rise out of some Ferris fans but nobody took the bait.

FYI- BRIS= Big Rapids Industrial School, FSU's original name.

First of all anyone who is or used to be a ref in the CCHA should be wearing a helmet on and off the ice due to their low intelligence levels...second of all when a college hockey team goes from October 28th to January 8th between losses they are bound to gain some positive recognition....If anybody should be posted in this overrated thread it should be NMU, a team who started the season ranked and now sits in 10th place in their league's standings

I certainly don't see our team as a top 10 team. We were inconsistent in many aspects. We have the talent, and hold our own with many ranked teams which is why we were picked to go 5th in the CCHA. The losses against LSSU, and Miami hurt, along with the multiple ties both conference and non-conference. We'll see what happens the rest of the year. Stop getting your panties in a bunch.

My panties aren't in a bunch, and I'm not even saying that the Lakers are world beaters by any means but when NMU gets spanked two nights in a row Wildcat fans shouldn't be running their mouth period.

To the knuckle-headed Ferris fan who slapped me with a neg-rep for daring to mention his school among the 'over-rated' five weeks ago... take a look at what's happened since then.

2-6-2 over the last 5 weeks, as you've gone from a projected #1 NCAA seed to a very precarious bubble team.

Before you feel the need to remind me... yes, I am aware that your team is better than mine this year, and I'm well aware that we are lucky to even have a program right now...but that wasn't the topic of the thread. The topic was 'over-rated teams', and I believe the stats listed above prove my point.

I'd not be surprised to see you fall to 5th in the CCHA, in which we'll see you in the first round.
