Among all the TUC's, they had the 22nd out of 25 strongest strength of schedule. That's as of Sunday night. In comparison, Salem had #12, UMD had #17 and Worcester had #25. Elmira was #1, with Norwich #11.

Well, this weekend will be relatively safe for everyone...

Tonight, I'm going to the Cornell women's game against Union. Saturday, I will not be attending any hockey game.

All Zambonis, coolant pipes, and fire alarms should be fine.

They gave Ryd the credit, but - that puck went in the net off the stick of a Pointer who tipped it in out of the air..........tough way to lose!

Wild scramble around the Pointer net resulted in the game winner. Same on the other end after Point pulled their goalie in the final half minute.
Overall, this was the typical 'chippy' game with the Pointers. Plenty of action (and jawing) after the whistle.
Thought we played pretty decent defense and O'Brien had a more consistent game (compared to his outings last weekend in Duluth).
Big challenge Sat nite in Eau Claire. I am impressed with the Blugold forwards this season.
They still have the pressing D, that they have been known for in recent years.
If we clear this hurdle, I think we will earn a pass for the first weekend of the NCHA playoffs.

I saw this on the Stevens Point Journal online about Point having a goal wiped out at the end of the game. I was sitting down in this section of the rink and the puck never went in nor did a goal light come on. I dont know where the Journal is getting their information but theres no way this happened. Am I missing something?

Watching it online, I saw nothing to indicate that there was a goal, except one pointer player putting his hand up in minor celebration. The ref looked like he was right on top of it, and as stated the goal light didnt go on. If the goal was waived off because of the net being off as the journal states, the goal light would have come on and I would have expected the ref to emphatically waive it off like they tend to do.
