I have to admit I chuckled when reading this. For those who have never drove on that road, yes this breaking news deserves it's own thread. Maybe it is all of purple rock salt they throw down.

It's my Bladder that takes the beating with me. It looks like they are making it wider too, hopefully two lanes at the highway to make it easier to make the right turns instead of waiting for the left turn cars to go first.
Regardless, long over due.

Where was this thought 15 years ago when they needed an extra lane/road going into the Domes when there were 3000-4000 people there every game? :)

I guess they are not widening the road after all :-( They are moving very slow, typical State job ;-)

not sure if they did that during my time, but Domes were packed. The only game my family was able to film was my Senior Night. The game was against Hobart on a Tuesday. Not many people showed up because a weekday. Fun trying to tell people that the rink is usually filled when the video shows empty seats. Funny
