WARRIOR HOCKEY PLAYER OF THE WEEK
#77 KENDALL COYNE, NORTHEASTERN

Coyne tallied six points over the weekend on two goals and four assists. The junior dished out three helpers in Saturday's 5-1 win before finding the back of the net twice and adding an assist in Sunday's 3-1 victory. The junior helped the Huskies clinch the third seed and home ice advantage entering the quarterfinals of the WHEA postseason tournament.
PRO AMBITIONS ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
#33 KATIE BURT, BOSTON COLLEGE

Burt went 1-0-1 on the weekend in a home-and-home series with rival No. 6 Boston University. She recorded her ninth shutout of the season Thursday before backstopping the Eagles to a 2-2 draw in overtime Saturday. The freshman owns the nation's best goals against average (1.02) and save percentage (.931) and carries a scant 0.61 GAA in league play.
WHEA DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
#30 MADISON LITCHFIELD, VERMONT
(So. G; Williston, Vt.)
Litchfield backboned the Catamounts to a weekend sweep on the road at Providence. The sophomore stopped 76 of the 80 shots the Friars fired her way en route to two back-to-back 3-2 victories. With the two wins, the Vermont native helped the Catamounts secure the number seven seed heading into the quarterfinals.

Alex Carpenter, BC (Jr., F; N. Reading, Massachusetts) Set a BC single-season points record with 71 (31g, 40a) after two goals and two assists in two games against No. 6 BU and leads the NCAA in all offensive categories (2.28 PPG, 1.00 G/GM, 1.29 A/GM).
Megan Keller, BC (Fr., D; Farmington Hills, Michigan) Assisted on the game-winning goal in Thursday's 5-0 win over BU and set up the game-tying goal in the Eagles 2-2 draw with the Terriers Saturday to force overtime.
Sarah Lefort, BU (Jr., F; Ormstown, Quebec) Scored her second consecutive hat trick to help BU clip Providence Monday.
Victoria Hanson, BU (So., G; Stoughton, Massachusetts) Stopped 57 shots in a 1-0-1 week, denying a breakaway with :18 left in overtime to preserve a 2-2 draw.
Sarah MacDonnell, UConn (Sr., F; Quispamiss, New Brunswick) Collected three points (2g, 1a) in a sweep of Maine, notching the game-winning goal with just 0.6 seconds left in overtime Saturday.
Leah Lum, UConn (Fr., D; Richmond, British Columbia) Tallied three assists in a 6-2 win over the Black Bears Sunday.
Caitlin Hewes, UConn (Jr., D; Stillwater, Minnesota) Had four points (1g, 3a), chipping in on the goal that forced overtime Saturday.
Meghann Treacy, Maine (Jr., G; Lake Peekskill, New York) Saw a streak of nine 30+ save outings snapped Friday, stopping 23 of 25 shots vs. UConn.
Denisa Krizova, NU (Fr., F; Horni Cerekev, Czech Republic) Scored twice and added an assist, potting two tallies Saturday to down UNH, 5-1.
Chloe Desjardins NU (Sr., G; St. Prosper, Beauce, Quebec) Kicked out 67 of 69 shots she saw against UNH, going 2-0-0 with 1.00/.971 numbers.
Haley Frade, PC (Sr., F; Marion, Massachusetts) Recorded three assists in two games against Vermont, including two primary helpers Saturday.
Bridget Baker, UVM (So., F; Los Gatos, California) Scored back-to-back game-winning goals to help UVM to a sweep at Providence.

QUARTERFINALS SET: Hockey East announced the quarterfinal matchups in the 13th annual Women's Hockey East championship tournament. No. 1 Boston College welcomes No. 8 Providence, No. 2 Boston University hosts No. 7 Vermont, No. 3 Northeastern faces No. 6 New Hampshire at Matthews Arena while No. 4 Maine hosts a playoff series for the first time in program history when the Black Bears welcome No. 5 UConn. All series are set to begin Friday (Feb. 27).
REMATCHES SET IN PLAYOFFS: A wild final weekend across Hockey East resulted in two playoff series featuring teams that battled during the last weekend of regular-season play. No. 3 Northeastern downed No. 6 UNH twice at home while No. 5 UConn bested No. 4 Maine twice in Orono last weekend.
CHAMPIONSHIP WEEKEND: The 2015 Women's Hockey East semifinals and finals are set to return to the Hyannis Youth & Community Center in Hyannis, Mass., March 7-8. Saturday's semifinals are scheduled to start at 1:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. while Sunday's title game starts at 1:30 p.m. Tickets are on sale now at
