were you at the game? because i was...and from what i saw, tech looked sluggish, and couldnt keep up with the depth of UMD. Tech was terribly outshot, and got a couple of lucky bounces, one that turned into a goal, so to think tech will walk away with a win is silly, naive, and egotistical. Once again UMD comes away with another EASY win against tech tonight.

NSSHG would also like to give a shout out to tech fans. NSSHG is very upset that while he was in college he didn't come up with a cheer that says "you suck on the pp." Brilliant

Beer Pong Horn hopes that tHuskies come out strong tonight, and never let up on the throttle. This team is talented enough to hold Duluth down, as long as they don't try to sit on that stupid two-goal lead.

NSSHG thinks this MTU squad is a bigger group of thugs than the Sioux. NSSHG thinks Jamie Russell should be embarrassed and should be fired for putting a D3 hack group out on WCHA ice. What an f-ing joke.

- I have seen some math that says that Tech might actually be ahead of Hillsdale with all of the Ranking numbers, but due to the Head-2-Head rule, Hillsdale will be ahead of Tech if they're next to each other in the polls. However with Colorado Mines, another Engineering school, beating Nebraska-Kearney today, it should shake up the numbers enough that Mines or Kearney could be in between Tech and Hillsdale, and thus remove the Head-to-Head jumping that Hillsdale gets to do.

I can't really give you an accurate idea of the numbers right now, mostly thanks to some idiots in Mankato not knowing how to handle some snow on their field. And after the 2005 debacle Tech had at GVSU, I'm pretty upset that they rescheduled the game for tomorrow morning and is playing it at Marshall instead of Mankato to boot. Its not like they're some idiots from Podunk, Alabama, they should know how to handle snow on their playing field.

I was simply stating that UMD played 3 full periods of hockey, outplaying MTech in each...and that UMD had nothing to fear going into last nights game...looks like i was right. hmmmmm

I would argue that you are not correct. Tech forced UMD to play their game and made us play like crud. The whole game was ugly...the third period without a lot of penalties really epitomized the poor play by UMD.

Without Tech's cheap hacky play UMD may not win that game. We scored three goals on the PP, 1 on a five minute major, and two 5 on 3.

Yes, UMD totally dominated Friday, but we were forced to play Tech's game on Saturday. Maybe with some calls by refs earlier in the game we get more room to move and it is a totally different game, but it was what it was.

tHatch_man is still wondering where the unsportsmanlike conduct penalty for tUMD #22 was when he circled back after a 5 on 3 PP goal was scored and stood face to face to the Tech goalie and was very pleased to see tMTU #15 completely light him up for his shenanigans because if tRef's are gonna let tUMD do whatever they want on the ice, I'm glad tMTU team took the matter into their own hands. tUMD players are a bunch of classless cheapshot artists and deserve the roughing up they got from tMTU Huskies. Granted a well reffed game and a MTU win would have been better, but it didn't happen and tUMD was the beneficiary.

100% agreed, TCM doesn't stand by Kattelus' decision, however something had to be done, taunting a goalie after a goal is completely uncalled for
