These ads are too da** annoying!

I can only log in if I select “remember me.” Otherwise it auto refreshes and auto logs out immediately after the redirect screen.

The ads are also too on point. Fade’s post included a Tech ad and there was some Trump home loan thing so poorly designed I thought it was a meme at first.

Thanks for the heads-up. I couldn't log in so I tried that and it worked.

I have tried to get "remember me" to work many times and it wouldn't work. Today it works. But it has worked on my PC. Different settings I guess. And now when I post I am automatically taken to Advanced. I broke the innertube! :D

On my Mac laptop w/ Safari & AdBlock+, I'm getting a 2" tall, horizontal, transparent white bar across the bottom with an "x" in the top right corner of the bar. There is no text/buttons in the bar. I'm assuming this is a cookie approval or something like that. Don't think it's an ad, but dunno... Closing it is temporary as it returns every time I go back to the main forum.

Ditto. I didn’t mind the ads on the mobile site before. I don’t mind them too much if they’re between (!) posts once a page. But this is splitting up posts with ads IN THE ACTUAL POSTS, taking forever to load, and they’re the most obnoxious implemention I have ever seen.

Has ticapnews checked in on this yet?

If this is what it’s going to be, I’m installing an ad blocker on my phone. I’m not putting up with this ****.

I believe it's "above his pay grade," so he can only just forward on the information. Hopefully someone else (who can update the inner workings of the board) has taken a look at the thread/emails and started to investigate.


Otherwise, *whispers* the inmates are running the asylum... :eek::D

Firefox has a browser that can block ads. But I have a bone to pick witht them. I’m sure chrome has something too.

One more bit of information for ticapnews to pass along (or for Ed or whoever to read here in the thread), when I click on "My Profile" at the top, there is some SQL/Javascript/Something code that shows at the very top of the page:

Looks like whatever the vBulletin update was, it broke the code to the website causing all this mess.

Those in the field will be all over me to correct it, but for simplicity: computer code is like an accounting ledger. Every open/close command needs to balance.

From the repeating text in that code, something is broken where it keeps trying to print the chain of code, but something is missing causing the truncated code to be shown because the underlying HTML doesn't understand what's missing.
