The Unofficial 2010 Brett Favre Retirement

Re: The Unofficial 2010 Brett Favre Retirement

The problem with anonymous sources is that they are anonymous. They can say anything they want. Whatever keeps Favre and the team in the news.

Re: The Unofficial 2010 Brett Favre Retirement

My response in the Packer thread:

Pretty much - in a few weeks, he'll let it slip that his ankle is healing faster than he originally thought, or he'll be seen in Mankato, and the circus will start anew.

That said, if he doesn't show, the Vikes will be up Shyte Creek.

Re: The Unofficial 2010 Brett Favre Retirement

My thought was the scene from Bart's Comet.

Homer, "At times like this I wish I were a religious man."
Reverend Lovejoy running down the street, "IT"S ALL OVER PEOPLE! WE DON'T HAVE A PRAYER!!"

Re: The Unofficial 2010 Brett Favre Retirement

That article is accurate. What it doesn't specify, however, is that Favre is fed up with Vikings' management and will be returning to Green Bay to play.

He'd better be going to the Oneida Casino, because I don't know if he'll be able to play anywhere else in Green Bay.

Seriously, though, he'll go to the Bears when it comes time to stick it to the Vikes.

Then he'll go to the Lions when he wants to stick it to the concept of success.

I was thinking Ashwaubenon. Jaguars are usually a power...he might be the final piece for them this season.

The twittersphere would like to inform you all that you are spelling Farve wrong.
