The tournament no one cares about.....

Ledyard Bank Classic 2010 with Lowell, Holy Cross, Dartmouth (host) and Northeastern on January 2nd and the 3rd.

Lowell vs Holy Cross and NU vs Dartmouth on the 2nd of January.

Re: The tournament no one cares about.....

I think Lowell takes this one easily. They'll beat HC on Saturday and NU on Sunday.

Dartmouth played some ugly hockey against Sacred Heart. Hopefully they won't be embarrassed by NU and HC.

Re: The tournament no one cares about.....

I'm heading up for this one. Where are Lowell fans sitting?

FYI, the UML Athletic Department did not order tickets for this Tournament. You have to buy them through Dartmouth directly. Tickets are $12 per day.

I haven't purchased my tickets yet but I will be once I get my group together and figure out who is going.

Re: The tournament no one cares about.....

The only question is how many UND fans will be in attendance wearing their battle gear?

Re: The tournament no one cares about.....

$12 isn't too bad. I might go ... I was thinking about it, but right now, cash is an issue (OK, cash is always an issue).

Re: The tournament no one cares about.....

I bought my tickets online yesterday. The "best available" were in the last row in the corner on the press box side (for a pair each night)

Re: The tournament no one cares about.....

What? There is no way this thing comes close to selling out.... right?

Re: The tournament no one cares about.....

This is a post for those folks who are going and have never been to Hanover.

This tourney won't sell out. There is parking right next to the arena, and they'll probably be running a shuttle to the medical school lot if that fills up. During the weekend parking is free on any campus lot, btw.

If you are short on cash, I recommend staying at Super 8 in White River Junction. There are other hotels in the area, but that one is the cheapest.

While you are in Hanover, make sure to eat breakfast or lunch at Lou's on Main Street. Try the corned beef hash.

Murphy's (also on Main Street) is a decent sports bar, you'll find hockey fans there before the games.

Try burgers at the Canoe Club -- the are really good.

If anyone has any questions, feel free to post them here and I'll answer to the best of my knowledge.

Re: The tournament no one cares about.....

Thanks a lot for all the info. L'il has a game on Sat, we may try for Sunday. Stupid HH. We were going to make a mini road trip.

Mary, Thanks for the info about tickets.

Re: The tournament no one cares about.....

..and if you have time, be sure to walk around campus.. prob the prettiest college campus in America (my opinion). I know its winter.. but i don't think that'll change my mind :) Oh yeah.. & Go Huskies

Re: The tournament no one cares about.....

Hey thanks for all the info

Can someone link me to where I can buy tickets? I can't for the life of me find ANY info about the tournament, let alone info about tickets...

(i guess no one really cares, huh?)

Re: The tournament no one cares about.....

I'm going. Should be a nice night away. Molly's Restaurant in Hanover, on Main Street is worth a visit. Tastiest bread I know of. Trust me.....
