That kid rules. He's just not on a joy ride. He's in it to get a pimp ride. ;)

If he's on 80, that means he'll probably have to go through South Bay. When he sees what those low riders can do, he'll change his mind.

The history of lowriders is fascinating.

Sounds like he was on 15, which means he was heading to LA, through Vegas. Probably intended to turn his $3 into $300,000 before continuing to Cali for the car.

People have gone to Vegas with worse plans.

Interesting

Outstanding. This is why it’s so important to run quality candidates. The GOP is going to have to divert a sizable chunk of $ to defend Daines, taking away resources from the big four contests of ME, CO, AZ, and NC. Keep expanding the map, Democrats.

Funny, it’s state Republicans in MN who refuse to consider infrastructure bill until governor walz ends emergency powers and makes the man baby republicans feel better

Cause Minnesota Republicans don't give a **** about anyone but themselves and their donors.

That’s surprising to hear states shut it down. Even Michigan kept road construction going.

I texted a friend who owns a highway construction company on the west side of Michigan that they never started work or even called back employees because of the shelter-in-place order. They were waiting to start work.

*edit* Here in Illinois we finally got the asphalt plants approved to open just a couple weeks ago. We still haven't gone 100% working yet. I'm on two projects that aren't going to be starting for another two weeks.

Maybe it depends on the type of work being done? Because MDOT has definitely been doing work this whole time on major projects.

Our big projects in IL that didn't really shut down for the winter kept rolling though this. It seemed that it was new projects that took a little longer to get started.

Probably the same for Michigan. Big projects that were working through the winter kept going. New projects might have been more questionable.

Even some that aren't major. The primary street that leads to my street was chewed up for resurfacing in the past week.
