Yeah, sorry about that. 1.4 Billion is going to Illinois, with a good chunk going to fix the critical I-80 bridge over the Des Plaines River in Joliet.

Let's just say it's so bad that I'm not surprised IDOT hasn't posted "No Lifeguard on duty, cross at your own risk," signs before the bridge. On a bridge report, it was listed as getting a 6 out of 100. No, they weren't using golf rules either.
 
The Right has been quoting MLK's speeches for years while deliberately censoring the portions that talk about economic justice and providing social services. Arizona's official textbooks have misquotes of King and teachers are explicitly told they may not point that out because it would be "political." My daughter teaches middle school history and her district's policy is she may not respond to questions about slavery other than to refer students to approved texts.
