It will be interesting to see the white women exit polling this November. We know the light bulb will never click on for white men.

NEW: Louisville police included multiple lies in request for Breonna Taylor search warrant, former detective admits

Former @LMPD Det. Joshua Jaynes and his partner, Kelly Goodlett, had a "gut feeling" that a suspected drug dealer was using Breonna Taylor's home to store drugs and money. But when the evidence they were looking for proved to be false, they used it anyway.

Kelly Goodlett, who has already pleaded guilty to conspiracy, went along with the false info because she "had been ostracized early in her career for attempting to report a fellow officer's use of excessive force, so she decided not to call Det. Jaynes out on this lie"

The officers knew that the suspected drug dealer, Jamarcus Glover, had not been making "frequent trips" to Taylor's home in recent months or using her address as his, as was written in the affidavit for the search warrant.

"When they conspired to violate Ms. Taylor's Fourth Amendment Rights, they knew that the warrant would be executed, at night, by officers with firearms, and that it was foreseeable that a person in the home could be injured or killed," according to the court records.

Goodlett also knew that the reasons Jaynes requested a no-knock warrant were false. "The detective had absolutely no reason to believe that Taylor was a drug trafficker, or that she had ever tried to destroy evidence or flee from law enforcement, or that there were any cameras”

The DA who tanked this (on purpose) should be charged. Even the Grand Jury said he left out facts making it impossible for them to charge the officers.

Those cops should end up in Gen Pop...no protection or solitary. They murdered her.

That has to be bad news for Whitmer's opponent right?

Things are already looking rough for Tudor, baring a serious October Surprise. The latest round of polling has Whitmer up by 13 points, 48-35, with 4% supporting a third party and 13% supposedly "undecided". While it's possible those undecideds are all secret R voters trying to skew the polls, it's not likely to break that way.

I saw that...but you know how much I trust polling ;^)

But hey...Tudor is "Hot Whitmer" right? Amazing that is all they have to run on!

At least at the moment, it's a couple of the other state offices that are going to be battles. Nessel and Benson for AG and SoS both have lower margins, despite their opponents being more extreme than Dixon. DePerno looks to be an actual criminal running for the highest office of law and Karamo appears to be extremely mentally unwell.

100% this. This election is simply to show how many Republicans vote for the R simply due to brand loyalty. I can't imagine why any sane person would buy into what they are selling to the people of Michigan.

Well, to remind you, the republicans who aren't fucking evil are fucking insane.

I hope the local Dem parties and the national Dem parties AND ALL DEM VOTERS realize that without voting straight ticket Dem and ridding every elected office of Republicans, we will continue to be plagued by these Nazis.

They cannot be permitted near any level of power. They have shown us exactly what they are.

I also hope every election has a Dem candidate, even if it's just a nominee who never spends a penny. It is important to never, ever, ever let a Nazi run unopposed.
