Especially not in Washington County where 81.7% of women participate in the labor force. (WHich is about the median in Minnesota among the counties)

I agree entirely, which is why we need to win in 22 and then decide, very quietly and away from the riffraff, what to do about Handsome Joe in 24.

This would not suck, for the party, the country and for him.

But if he does not bow out then I hope he runs unopposed. Ted Kennedy gave us Reagan and the now looming death of America. No more of that BS.

And if he does bow out, NO RETREADS. No Olds anywhere near the ticket, not even my spirit animal, Bernie. A clean break from The Worst Generation. Give me a manageable few of Liberals and Leftists in their 40s and 50s, and have a nomination race based on facts and dedicated to the proposition that the day after the Convention we all go Nazi hunting together. America, fuck yeah!

I can get on board with that. I was thinking the creation of the EPA as the cutoff, but there might be some good talent to mine who was born between those events.

There is nothing wrong with hoping things are in a place where he can bow out gracefully. Actively campaigning for it is a completely different animal. YMMV
