Bibi has nukes but he’s also not going to toss them around willy nilly (if he does use a nuke then Israel loses any shred of being a “defender” and the rest of the world will actually step in). Plus Israel still has command and control over their nukes.

Again, don’t try to compare our hypothetical to the current world. If the US goes into a full blown civil war and command and control over our nuclear weapons is lost, then the rest of the world is not going to sit idly by while nuclear weapons could potentially go missing. It’s bad for everyone on the planet to have unchecked nuclear weapons floating around.

USA civil war as a proxy for Russia-China vs EU is an interesting scenario. Assume the US is the irredeemable Sick Man. The successor powers are jockeying for dominance. Russia-China already control the American Right. The Free World steps in to help out the forces of light. The Muzzies sit back hoping we all destroy each other.

Eh, my hypothetical Pacific coast would likely still have the ability to control the Pacific at least. In fact they’d need to keep everyone away from Alaska and Hawaii.

Plus, the saner countries left could form an EU-like agreement (common currency, collective defense, common market).

TLDR: Red states are full of crime-ridden shitholes like Cleveland, and plenty of smaller cities with extremely high per-capita violent crime and homicides rates,but somehow it's DC that has to be militarized. :rolleyes:

Speaking from personal experience gleaned over a handful of work trips before COVID, South Carolina is a very dangerous state to visit and I wouldn't recommend going unless you have to.

I’m in Fort Collins and an old lady told me to go back to where I came from. Because I was speaking Swedish.

I have light brown /dark blonde hair, blue eyes and translucent skin. God help this country if only there was a god
 
Oh, Charleston was lovely. Overhearing hotel employees talking about the sexual assault at my hotel the previous month (a well-known chain, not some fleabag). Dodging high AF panhandlers and keeping my eyes peeled for mugging teams after dark. Strolling across the street to get my morning coffee while dodging a couple of broken bottles here and a used heroin rig there.

I flew back and forth for over a month. If I never go back, it'll be too soon. You wouldn't think it, but Savannah was much better.
