The States : red states in a race to the bottom

Liberalism was a hypothesis of the Enlightenment. If we gave these people an education and kept them safe from the peril of famine and disease they would better themselves and become good citizens and motivated people seeking fulfillment.

Leftism was a different hypothesis: the idiocy and self-destructive violence of the proletariat was a product of the warping effect of capitalism, and overturning it would allow them to grow into adulthood.

Both theories were false. There is a perpetual loserclass which, even when having every opportunity advantage, can never rise on the Maslow pyramid. They are at best shit-fer-brains and all too often sociopathic monsters.

The solution is ironically a conservative tenet: bootstraps. STOP subsidizing them. Stop assisting them. Let them finally learn to swim or drown. But trying to save them we only wind up with the lifeguard being killed by their panic and idiocy.

Leftism was another hypothesis: the idiocy and selfish violence of the working class was a product of the warping effect of capitalism, and sheltering them from it would allow them to grow into adulthood.

Both theories were false. There is a perpetual loserclass which, despite being given every chance, can never rise on the Maslow pyramid. They are at best shit-fer-brains and all too often sociopathic monsters.

The solution is right their among conservative tenets: bootstraps. STOP subsidizing them. Stop assisting them. Let them figure it out or slink off the stage of history.

Full on handmaids tale. Lay back and get raped and give the baby to the nice white married couple.

A Missouri Representative has filed a bill to track pregnancies in the state.

HB 807 will: "Maintain a central registry of each expectant mother who is at risk for seeking an abortion of her unborn child and make the same available to a prospective adoptive parent who has completed screenings."

There are 12,149 children in Missouri's foster system as of January 2024. How about the state starts there before they start with the dystopia tracking system.

Side note, there are 6,866 registered churches in the state of Missouri, if two families of each congregation adopted a child, the foster system would be empty. Christian Love my ass...

Just a note on this: not all faster children are eligible for adoption. We would need to take a deeper looked at the numbers to know the counts of temporary vs. permanent/adoption-eligible kids. All of that is to say, the average would be less than two children per church.

Not surprising if true.
