I disagree with expunging the records like that. It may have been bad law (it was), but it was still the law and they were found in violation of it.

Why? You can get many things expunged just by paying a court fee (my dad with a Gross Misdemeanor) and since we know how hard it is for convicted criminals to get jobs and we know the law was often applied...ummm...inconsistently when it came to socioeconomic and racial factors it is best to just wipe the slate clean of anything that wouldnt be a crime going forward. Get these people more opportunities to work instead of keeping them held down by a worthless drug charge.
