Stuff like this is appalling and really goes to show how far control on most things in life has drifted away from us normal peons.... When you take a step back, it almost is Orwellian in the sense that all of these "large entities" (Business or Government) are always watching over you and controlling the narrative.

If you're Republican all you need is a two seat majority in one of the State Houses and you practically run the whole government. First you win on the important stuff like taxes and the budget, then you win on the silly stuff.
