I've visited Minnesota twice. Was advised to not even look for it.

I have never even considered trying it. Probably better than the Paint Thinner you drink though ;)

Eh, you can carve around South Texas. Build the wall somewhere between Austin and Waco.

EDIT: Scoobs is right, you need to add the Ozarks part of Southern MO.

There are plenty of unpleasant places that are not "The South." Just because you're inbred and ignorant doesn't make you a Southerner. Exhibits: West Virginia, Kansas, and 40 miles outside of every city in the blue states.

The South: that map plus MO, TN, NC and KY.

The West: everything west of MT, WY, CO, NM inclusive.

The Northeast: NY, PA, MD, VA and points northeast.

The Midwest: everything else.

People from Joplin and Branson talk exactly like people from Arkansas, and MO was a slave state. I rest my case.

Having lived in the area, I have a soft spot in my heart for the Ozarks of Southern MO and northern Ark. Let's keep that area.
