An effective sex ed class??

@AdamCarriker94: Sexual education classes in school should just be listening to a baby cry for five hours straight while watching the same cartoon on repeat.

That would work, but kids still need to know about:
a) How things work
b) How to protect yourself
c) What to do when things hit the fan, be it pregnancy or an STD or any other sexual health-related topic

Yep screw the high road...go to the people. Show them how their reps are going agains tthe will of the people because they cant stand they lost.

**** the Democrats, Cooper's response is to say they should work on higher teacher pay? Pretty sure if Trump were to grab the Dems he'd get a handful of Roy Cooper. Call them out on this BS, the high road isn't working.

Cooper is now vowing to sue GOP

Re: The States: Mad Scientist Laboratories of Democracy

You have to cut somewhere. The New Republican Health Care Act is going to be damm entertaining in that regard.

Newt told the Heritage Foundation that their goal was to roll back everything from the Great Society and the New Deal--apparently 1930 was the last time American was "great". What was health care policy like back then? That's probably what their plan will look like.

Well, we roll back to 1929 then the next thing that happens is the Great Depression II, and after that World War III. I'm so excited.

And it's official. Outgoing GOP Governor of North Carolina signs bill to limit what the new Dem Governor can actually do.

Skimming what powers were taken away, incoming Governor is relegated to zero executive tasks and just one public event for the next four years: Parade Marshal of the annual Asheville Holiday Parade, presented by Bojangles. But the GOP senators get to pick the car he rides in.

Illinois had the largest exodus of residents in 2016

Also, the state fiscal budget that Illinois lawmakers kept kicking like a can to prolong the enevitable?

Guess what, the stop-gap budget expires December 31st, and lawmakers haven't met regarding it for two weeks.

State agencies are yet again preparing for cuts, layoffs, and no funding.

Hooray Illinois!

*Vomit*

Also, the State of Indiana has started a marketing campaign in the Chicagoland region advertising Indiana as "The State That Works."
