Re: The States: Mad Scientist Laboratories of Democracy

Perhaps you could point us to exactly when and where Obama "apologized" for the Texas Revolution?

I doubt it though. We call you FraudDUDE for a reason.

He's apologised for so many different things now, I'm sure it's hidden somewhere in the numerous tours. Probably while he was bowing as a subject of the Saudi leader.

Care to give us an example...or will you shrink away from this like you did over Jade Helm Frauddy?

Jade Helm's still going to happen! They just got false flagged last year and it's really going down THIS September. And then it'll be next year.

So, Michigan started drug-testing all welfare/SNAP recipients, and has yielded no positive results.

1. They outsourced the testing to a Russian firm
2. The testing made everyone become clean.

C. The government is wasting money to stick it to poor people under the guise of saving money.

(Hint: the answer is always C).

4. They're wasting money because the relatively small number of people taking illicit drugs know how to beat the tests or buy clean urine.

3. This was all an attempted distraction from the Flint water debacle.

Speaking of which, FWIW, our very Republican AG went on TV yesterday to accuse the Governor's office of not fully cooperating with his investigation, and to accuse the Governor's own internal 'investigation' of interference bordering on obstruction of justice.

I've long gotten the vibe that Snyder and Schuette really don't like each other, and it's well known that Schuette has designs on being our next Governor. So I think this just confirms my suspicions.

Still no movement on the Illinois budget. As I posted earlier, the Illinois Dept. of Transportation is playing chicken and announced that any construction work they fund will be halted July 1st until a budget is passed. If it drags on into July, the State Treasury Department has now joined the game and announced they may stop cutting checks to everyone.

Local school districts are now discussing if they can open this fall, and the Chicago Public School system already announced that they're not opening without a budget.

My employer is caught in the middle now; if the Treasury Department decides to close up, all construction work stops. We've already been told that they're working on a Plan B for the IDOT shutdown (one of our projects is an IDOT job) and they would shuffle employees to different jobs. And a plan C is starting if the Treasury Dept. happens. Good thing I have three weeks of PTO banked up...
