The States 2: States Rights for Me But Not for Thee

Its disappointing enough to learn that my ancestors went from Quebec to Wisconsin; my head hurts tallying up all the ways the sconnies spelled the same person's name differently on different documents. they really had a hard time with french names (I know, I know, it wasn't just sconnies who anglicized names, but we know they were always drunk even back then).

It took my Grandmother watching a Detroit Tigers game with Dominican Republic born reliever Joaquin Benoit pitching to finally solve a decades old spelling/pronunciation barrier that had been preventing her from tracing the Quebecois lineage further back than father.

Because of that, she joked that he was a long lost relative, from a different family tree. 😂

it's amazing. we are up to:
4 different names to spelll great great grandmothers last name
2 ways to spell great grandfather's first and last name
3 ways to spell great grandmother's first name, 2 for last

at least the birthdates match.

Katie Hobbes vetoed a Charlie Kirk commemorative AZ license plate. For every plate sold, $17 would have gone to TP.

Let the mouth breathers foam at the mouth and shid their pants.
