The States 2: States Rights for Me But Not for Thee

Boston is one of maybe 3 cities where I historically find it extra hard not to get unprofessionally drunk when I visit. It's not the local yokels for me, it's something more to do with the history and having so many old bars - how the revolution got planned and financed by guys like Hancock, etc. Now, tell me male privilege ain't a thing.

Houghton is obviously another.

Buffalo. Syracuse. Really, anywhere in Upstate New York. Like how Kurt Russell drinks all the way through "The Thing."

It would be rude to act otherwise.

Sure, but see, there I just feel bad for the locals, which makes drinking easier to avoid. I don't feel that in Boston.

Regardless, next time I hit Beantown will be with the wife. She majored in History and PolySci, and while she usually hates American history (rightfully finds it boring and over-short), she does love the idea of Boston. We'll be fine.

I would love to get out to Boston soon, but only because I want to visit all the Fallout 4 locations.
