Does MI only require a license renewal every 13 years? We have to get a new photo with every renewal here.

We renew every 4. You're only allowed to renew by mail every other renewal, so I should have been called in last time, but for whatever reason I was not.

My current license still has a photo taken a few weeks before a I turned 16.

Gimme that olde tyme religion.

Witchcraft is still punishable by law in Central African Republic and jail terms are commonly handed out as punishments with some reports saying half of the country's jails are taken up with those accused of witchcraft.

Good for him. Not a choice I've made, but he's got principles and he sticks to them.

But the situation seems to have fooled some folks. This has actually isn't about him being abstinent...its all about him not marrying her. If he said he would marry her, it sounds like she would have been down the aisle in a heartbeat.

Much of the war on religion advanced by pundits is waay overstated. Christians don't get the same treatment as Muslims (where bigotry against Muslims is compounded by racial and cultural bigotry).

Yet I've seen where my aunt was offended that I said happy holidays (because I didn't say merry Christmas). Even though, it was New Year's eve. And... I've seen folks say Christians are dumb. In the end, bigotry is bigotry. It should be simple...appreciate everyone's point of view, embrace diversity, and share learnings/perspectives.

This whole obsession with Happy Holidays irritates the heck out of me. Happy Holidays is all encompassing- Happy T-day, Xmas, New yr, various other religious hols I am too lazy to type. It is manufactured outrage that is all over my FB page people 'defending' Christmas. :rolleyes:

It reads like your aunt is fighting back against those micro-aggressions people are making against Christmas and Christians in general. :eek: :D

...yep, and she thought I was one of those doing it. Not sure what happened to moderates...not sure what happened to people being able to entertain and discuss others' pov.
