Sure, it's possible to reach a such conclusions. But it's difficult to in the rarified air of a place like the Supreme Court, where decisions have enormous ramifications, and where issues before the court are so politicized. Plus, I don't think, particularly in the Dems' case, they'd have any interest in nominating someone who doesn't toe the line on their litmus test issues.I have to disagree. Sort of. WHile it's impossible to completely divorce oneself from deeply held political beliefs, I still think it's possible to come to a conclusion that is derived almost entirely from fact, science, and the Constitution. I'd like to think I'm capable of this since I seem to **** off quite a few of the posters on here regularly. Some from opposing political affiliations on the same post. It's like getting two ducks in one shot on Duck Hunt.![]()
