The Paint Store Diaries: Michigan Tech Offseason Part III

Re: The Paint Store Diaries: Michigan Tech Offseason Part III

settle down, we're far from ****ed yet. IF the Ani-BigTen Conference happens, then we're ****ed.
Did you see what the Denver guys said about Gwoz leaving if they don't form a new conference to challenge the big 10? Gwoz and Rico are buddies, you don't think they're already figuring out how they're going to pull this off?

What if the Colorado schools bailed?

And NMU and LSSU moved over?

Is NoDak and Duluth enough to take over the top and keep a strong WCHA, or is that just a modified CCHA situation where ND and Miami get the hell out of Dodge as quick as they could too?

I think North Dakota is strong enough to be the flagship university of the conference. A combination of UMD, SCSU and UNO would have to step up. Recruiting to this conference is going to be much tougher for everyone except UND.

It was a blog, and completely speculation.

I'm just going to attempt to enjoy Tech hockey while I can, regardless of what develops over the next few seasons.

That's all I've got.

Re: The Paint Store Diaries: Michigan Tech Offseason Part III

Tech hockey will be just fine. The WCHA will function just fine without the Big Ten teams. suck it up everybody! its not the end of the world. just the end of the world as we know it. :)
