The Paint Store Diaries: Michigan Tech Offseason Part III

Re: The Paint Store Diaries: Michigan Tech Offseason Part III

Oh and straight from Suzanne:
Actually we are going with $52.50 on the price. Get others to buy them so we keep a season ticket package.
So they might be looking to take away student season tickets in the future, which would suck.

Triple post! 1 UP!

Re: The Paint Store Diaries: Michigan Tech Offseason Part III

Why would they take student tickets away? No one goes to the games. Whether it's a student not buying the ticket or an old person not buying the ticket, it's still $0. And by taking away student tickets, they make no money off students.

Re: The Paint Store Diaries: Michigan Tech Offseason Part III

The word out of the paint store is that Assistant Coach Damon Whitten reads the boards.

I had the opportunity to meet Lou Angotti and John Kosiancic. Also, I saw two Stanley Cup rings, one of Randy Mckay's and Kris Draper's dad was wearing his son's.

Also, interesting fact apparently the band is responsible for starting on-ice challenges, originally shooting the puck at the net.

Re: The Paint Store Diaries: Michigan Tech Offseason Part III

Anyone here going to the Alumni game? Unfortunately my Grandmother passed away this week and I will be attending the wake rather than the hockey reunion. If anyone goes and shoots photos please throw them up online.

Thanks,
Ryan J

I will be going to the alumni game, but unfortunately I misplaced my camera earlier in the summer.

PB and I will be going as long as he doesn't get a dog this afternoon. I might be able to get some pictures, but the JMSIA and my camera aren't always the best of friends.

Re: The Paint Store Diaries: Michigan Tech Offseason Part III

Another thing I saw yesterday up on the suite level are a wall of jerseys dating from the 90's back to the 20's.
