I've never been a "just happy to be here" fan. North Dakota is not that type of fan base.

I guess it doesn't really surprise me that a Gopher fan can't distinguish banter within a subset of the larger picture. The only thing Minnesota has on North Dakota is the overall record. That record is growing closer, and when North Dakota takes it over, we'll have all the major talking points in our favor. It has nothing to do about only being happy if we're better than Minnesota.

Yeah you will have all the major talking points, but you will still be North Dakota fighting "whatevers" and everybody will still hate you and not really respect you...
