There are some excellent candidates for that assignment, but not me; thanks nonetheless.

There would most assuredly be capability constructed for an ice sheet in the building, were I engaged on the project, however. And certain parties who I do know and are available and qualified would like the same, for sure.

I'm sorry, but if they're gonna build a new arena, they should at least put enough seats in it so they can get a hockey regional in the place. If that's too much money, cut back on the stupid conference/banquet hall space.

The new arena plan is a JOKE. No ice.......no sky boxes......smaller seating capacity (5,400) than the Bangor Auditorium. I hope it is defeated by a voter referendum.

They need that conference/banquet hall space for the one conference a year they have in bangor :D

If they're going to build a new arena do it right and not half *** it.

And..................once again, a Maine hockey broadcast doesn't work, despite Blake james emailing me(from his Blackeberry even!!!!!:eek:) saying it would never happen again.

that's three out of the last four weeks now,m for anyone keeping score back home. Thank you UMaine, and Learfield Sports. :rolleyes: :mad:

time warner channel 17 in southern maine if you live down this way

Mine doesn't the first time, but when I close out and open it again it worked. Same thing last week for me.

That's what I tried. There are three different places on Yahoo where they have the link for the game audio, and I kept switching between them, and none would work, until finally I got one to open, fifteen minutes after coverage was supposed to start.

Funny, I was looking at my old comments from my User CP, and last March, in response to my optimism about the guys coming in...I got this lovely comment:

"Boy you're really excited about those recruits. Bet most of them if not all of them suck when they show up and then bolt from the ****show of a program after 1 yr. RIP Maine hockey."


Anyone wanna own up to that comment? :rolleyes: ;)

Great game and nice penalty killing tonight on that lop sided/soft officiating. It was nice to see the boys kept working and kept there cool. Gus nice to get the team motivated with that first goal.

Except for all the penalties, Maine continues to play well. They pounce on the puck, play aggressively and challenge the opposition when they bring the puck into their zone. 4172 there to see it. I'm sure TV hurt the attendance. A win tomorrow night would be huge and put Maine above .500. Anyone know what happened to Dee. Didn't see him in the 3rd period.
