It's all Tim's fault. I remember when Shawn was coaching and someone would get sick, he'd heal them so they could play. He'd take one look at H1N1 and incinerate the virus.

One-note wonder.

Re: The Official Maine 2009 season thread:The Revenge of TIMMAY!!!

Didin't you say you were done with Maine hockey?
He might as well be when is the last time he actually had a post about hockey? He spends his time on this thread being a smug prik and that's it.

Re: The Official Maine 2009 season thread:The Revenge of TIMMAY!!!

Does anyone know why Banwell has not dressed the last 3 games?

Scored twice at NU so I am assuming injury but maybe not? Just curious!

Paper says injury

Pre-game had Banwell, Carriere and Pryor out. One had a knee injury and the other two concussions. Mangene flu.

Wow, bench not too deep these days, no one was a healthy scratch? Thanks!

So many players stepped up tonight. According to the radio it's hard to pick just one. I didn't see any of it, but Mark Nemec, I thought, had a huge game. He had an assist and did some good things on the ice. Maine defeats the #3 team in the country. Very interesting.;)

It will be interesting how far they drop in the polls. Vermont and BU were in the top 10 when we beat them. Lose to Maine and drop like a rock. :p

I could be wrong (I was once), but I don't think Maine's been picked to win a hockey east game yet on USCHO. Keep picking against, It's good for at least .500

weekly column finally picked them to beat st lawrence tomorrow, but up until now, no, they had not been picked to win...

Good WIN...now lets HOPE they focus on St.Lawrence tonight......

Re: The Official Maine 2009 season thread:The Revenge of TIMMAY!!!

Wish I was going to Portland tonight. A few beers at the Sebago usually makes for a good game:D I can't remember the last time I saw Maine play well at CCCC though, for whatever reason they usually start slow. Heck one year it took a 5min major on Greg Moore to get them going. Like to hear them blow the Larries off the ice tonight

Re: The Official Maine 2009 season thread:The Revenge of TIMMAY!!!

Add another player to the injury list...Kyle Solomon was hurt last night blocking a shot late in the 1st period....his status according to the PPH & Whitehead is that they don't think he'll play tonight vs St.Lawrence in Portland.

He blocked two shots back to back without a stick right between the bottom of the circles. I def think UML score if he doesn't block them. Some real commitment from Solomon. Hopefully he gets better soon.

Banwell injured his knee during practice.

Nick Pryor had the flu earlier and lost 7 lbs. while being out a week.

Hats off to Darling for solid goaltending..........Dimmen for breaking up a 2 on 1 at a key time that might have allowed Lowell back into the game......House for a couple of great goals.

Let's hope they continue to play well against the Saints tonight.

Solomon's injury looked to be really bad.
He flopped around like a fish in a seizure. I have never seen anyone go down the way he did, both feet flapping a mile a minute. I do not expect him to be back soon. He could not bear weight on either foot as he was being carried off the ice last night.

We all need to give Tim some credit for last night's win. The boys all played as hard as they could have for the entire game. And Tim changed the game plan in the thrid and Maine played a UMass trap that Lowell could absolutely not solve. AND Tim called a timeout with about 10 minutes left with the score 2-1.
ALL nice changes and all good coaching moves.
