Re: The NFL Thread, Part III: What lockout?

This should be pretty non-eventful...

Re: The NFL Thread, Part III: What lockout?

I guess ESPN taking the bury their head in the sand approach when it comes to Hank. They ignore it and it will go away. Why not? That plan worked on their coverage of the NHL. :D

Re: The NFL Thread, Part III: What lockout?

Then you want me to win because I need him to score less than 29 points and you need him to score less than 12 :p
I don't know how your scoring was but I lost by just over a point. I could have survived in that last touchdown never happen or if Tampa had gained 25 of those 35 yards threw the air before Blount scored is TD. I really hate Monday Night Madness when its so close.

I won that game by 10. I went 4-1 this week and have two teams at 4-0.

Re: The NFL Thread, Part III: What lockout?

In one league I'm in 7th, out of 10, with a 1-3 record, and more overall points than all but the top 2 teams. I'm within 20 points of the first place team...

In the other league, the team that I previously called the worst fantasy team in history (which may have been an exageration), has gone 2-0 the last 2 weeks to get back to .500. My team got quite a bit better with the return of Arian Nation.

OK so my girlfriend sends me this TMZ link about how Cutler was spotted in LA with his ex-fiance today. Don't the Bears have a game Sunday? Why is he allowed to be in LA today?

Re: The NFL Thread, Part III: What lockout?

They play Monday at Detroit, so it's possible, anyway, the Bears are off until Wednesday. Still . . .

Who cares? NFLers are not on lockdown 24/7. Flights can be done in a couple hours. And if they are off until Wed (maybe Thu, since it's a MNF game), big deal. I think Cutler's a doosh, but that won't change my opinion of this *cough* "story."
