The NFL Thread, Part III: What lockout?

Re: The NFL Thread, Part III: What lockout?

Miller was 1 and Dareus was 1A.

It's a bright day in Buffalo!!! No Newton and a monster defensive line player that can play mutiple spots on the line for a team that ranked 32nd against the run.

Re: The NFL Thread, Part III: What lockout?

Looks like Colleen Dominguez has taken her inner Chris Berman to a new level... So annoying when ESPN has to get the scoop 30 seconds before the pick is even made.

On a different note, Peterson to AZ is a good move by the Wiz...

That's why I'm watching NFL Network. Their magpies are much better than ESPN's magpies.

Atlanta moves up 21 spots to get Julio Jones at No. 6.

Cleveland gets 27, 59, 124, and a first and fourth in 2012.

***k charter. I refuse to pay for the NFL Network as a matter of principle... that and the Buffalo Wild Wings is within walking distance even when its 20 below - makes that decision quite simple.

Re: The NFL Thread, Part III: What lockout?

Aaaand Alex Smith puts the revolver back in the safe. Wrong Tiger, Harbaugh...

Re: The NFL Thread, Part III: What lockout?

Locker to Tennessee at No. 8! Did anyone predict that, with Gabbert still on the board?

Re: The NFL Thread, Part III: What lockout?

Its not quite on the level of Darrius Heyward-Bey, but then again, the Raiders don't have a first round pick. This will have to do. Good on ya, Locker.

Re: The NFL Thread, Part III: What lockout?

Jacksonville trading up for Gabbert? This is getting very interesting.

(Washington gets Jacksonville's second-rounder, as well as No. 16.)

Tis the year of the QB

Yeah, the two trades thus far have been eye openers to say the least... don't agree with ATL's at all, and to trade up for Gabbert with Dalton, Ponder, and Kaepernick still on the board if they're set on a QB? Not to mention they still have Garrard, who isn't an a-list QB, but also isnt anywhere near the Alex Smith wheelhouse either.

Ponder to Minny at 12.

Rick Gosselin called 5 QBs in the top 12 this morning and everyone thought he was crazy.

Re: The NFL Thread, Part III: What lockout?

Christian Ponder? Are you bleeping me?

Yeah, that was a bit surprising. I'm sure they wanted to trade back, just couldn't find a trading partner. Too bad, because Ponder, you would think, would have been available much later in the first round.

I love Gruden chuckling at the Vikings pick.

This. My respect level for Jon Gruden has completely recovered from the whole "Grudens QB Camp" series. (Although watching Scam Newton freeze when asked to diagram a play from college was PRICELESS)

I'm not a big fan of Nick Fairley. Not when we're bleeding corners and have a turnstile for an offensive line.
