And we have now reached rock-bottom for pregame shows. They "interviewed" the friggin' E-TRADE BABY. Are you *ing serious?

Re: The NFL Thread (cont'd)

I'm glad I still was on Fox. At least they didn't have a concert before the game started........right?

Re: The NFL Thread (cont'd)

Wish the Pats could have had this officiating crew against the Jets secondary last week...

Re: The NFL Thread (cont'd)

Do the Packers feel confident going to the superbowl barely beating a team lead by Caleb Hanie? Did anyone other then die hard Bear fans even know that Caleb Hanie played for the Bears? His NFL career stats to date were appearances in 2 games in 2009 where he went 3 of 7 for 11yards and 1 INT.

Sounds like the Vikings next QB :p:D:D

Re: The NFL Thread (cont'd)

I'm rooting for "The Sum of All Fears" scenario in the AFC Title game. :D

Before you say anything, I'm a Bills fans so I can be this bitter. The next QB to lead us to the playoffs probably hasn't even been born yet.

Thankfully the Packers haven't had to deal with any injuries this season or anything.

They happen. The Bears had pretty much the rest of their team. The Packers were down about half of their starters so who the hell cares.

All teams have injuries. No questioning that but the Packers struggled on defense against an offense that is nothing special led by Caleb Hanie. I'm guessing Packer coaches care and have a bit of concern.

I think they slacked off considerably after they went up 21-7. It was like they thought the game was over. I wouldn't be too concerned with the D if I were a Packers fan, as neither New York nor Pittsburgh are offensive juggernauts.

Re: The NFL Thread (cont'd)

I'd love the Steelers to beat the Jets by about 30, and have Hines Ward crack Rex Ryan right in his 450-lb jaw. He's a steaming turd just like his daddy was.

Last play of the Game, Big **** for brains breaks his leg, that would add some icing to the cake

Struggled? They gave up 14 points. It's not like Vick or Ryan did demonstrably better against the Packers D.

I don't come into the cafe often... but who is this toolbox?
