Sure, it was news when the Beavers had their success. They deserve every bit of kudos they've had for that. But they haven't had this, and in a season where we've been terrible and on a weekend where the Beavers are about 90% likely to pick up four points (and only 2% likely to split), well ... we'll take the love where we can get it.

Absolutely embarrassing to lose a must win game, coming off a bye week at home to the worst team in college hockey... I hate to say it but BSU has been stuck in idle for too long and may need a jolt to reverse this...

Our passing looked so bad and Larose looked far too calm. Good game for Huntsville. They looked calm, focused and relaxed. Tomorrow I hope for better. Can anyone explain the reason BSU seems obsessed with cross ice passing? It hasn't worked well all year, yet we persist.

Geoff is getting call outs on the UAF broadcast for the standings model. It's made it's way around apparently :)

:D :D :D :D :D :D :D It's just too bad that Bemidji's season doesn't end with tonight. Not only does it look unlikely that the Lakers will win another game this season, but if they do, the Beavers have the tiebreaker with a 3-1 season series win. The only way that UAH can really screw Bemidji's season is to win again on Saturday, and I really don't see that happening. (But if it did, I might be really insufferable.)

I'm ignorant here, but the way I read that tells me that this might not be a good thing.

I'm watching FSU-UA, so I heard that and got a chuckle. I think that they were excited because it put them in third. But they also talked about me in their broadcast of our game there. It's really unfair that people think that all the stuff we do is from me, because UAHStatman does like 80% of the work on the site.

No, no, sorry for the inside joke. IIRC, Siouxsports used to run a WCHA playoff simulator the second half of the year, where you could input various scenarios and get a result. It was actually a neat tool.
