Re: The NCHC: Just be glad its NaCHo League
Yes that's Minnesota, that's to be expected. Minnesota has done nothing to not deserve their spot and everything to deserve it.
It's the other teams I wonder about.
Wisconsin lost 9-2 to BC, 7-3 to BU. 1-0-1 vs. Lake Superior, 1-1 vs. Anchorage.
Michigan loses to UMass-Lowell, UNO, Western Michigan and just 2-2 vs. Penn State. 0-4 to this point vs. Minnesota and Wisconsin with 2 games left vs. the Gophers.
Ohio State 0-2 vs. Miami, 0-1 vs. Bowling Green, 1-1 vs. UMD and sub-.500 in conference.
To be objective:
ND: Loss to St. Lawrence, 0-1-1 vs. BU, 3-1 vs. Miami
SCSU: 2-2 vs. Miami, 0-1-1 vs. Union, 0-1 vs. Minnesota
UNO: 1-1 vs. Bentley, 1-1 vs. Northern, 0-2 vs. Cornell, 1-1 vs. Michigan, 0-2 vs. New Hampshire, 2-2 vs. ND, 1-1 vs. SCSU, above .500 in conference, only 3 losses to teams below them in PWR 2 of which came opening two weekends.
UMD: 1-1 vs. Tech, 1-1 vs. Ohio State, 1-1 vs. Notre Dame, 1-1-1 vs. Minnesota, Win vs. Minnesota State.
Western: 0-2 vs. Notre Dame, Tie vs. Alaska, 0-1-1 vs. Northern, Tie vs. Northeastern, Win vs. Michigan
Denver: loses to both Alaska schools, loss to Canisius, 1-0-1 vs. Air Force, 1-0-1 vs. Rennsselaer, 1-3 vs. UNO.
Definitely the Top 2 from both schools deserve where they are, just seems to me some of the lower teams are getting a lot of credit despite bad loses. I still feel like 3-6 is at least in the same category of Michigan and especially Ohio State with their resumes.
