Watched Her last night. I liked it quite a bit. Very original idea, and very well done. Joaquin Phoenix nailed the role, and Scarlett Johansson was mesmerizing, in her voice-only roll. My wife just thought that it was a weird movie, which it kinda was.

Taken #1 was good, but #2 bored me about halfway through the movie, didn't even finish it. I made it to the part where he's running atop the buildings to make his wife Untaken.

The first half was good. The second half was like a parody mash-up of Beverly Hills Cop and the Six Million Dollar Man. As a franchise, Taken is laughably bad.

You saying you liked half of a movie is as close as we'll ever get you to saying you liked a movie, right? So grading on a curve it means you liked it. :D

I love lots of movies. You just can't get past The Departed sucking.

Taken was great. After that, if you expected anything more than unbelievable popcorn action, you expected too much. That being said, I am looking forward to seeing the 3rd one, although I won't see this one in theaters.

I haven't seen in in the last five years, but I thought it held up pretty well through the years. Was still hilarious every time I watched it.
