It's my senior year at Manhattanville and I am excited for the hockey season. This is my last chance to see the Valiants play so hopefully it will be a memorable one.

I'm trying to make travel plans to go to Michigan for their season opener.

ECAC West Predictions:

1. Elmira
2. Manhattanville
3. Utica
4. Hobart
5. Neumann

I'm trying to make travel plans to go to Michigan for their season opener.

It took me a minute to figure that one out.

You play the U-18s the night after we do. I may have to make that trip. The Cube is only 40 miles or so from Adrian. You're welcome to come to Arrington to watch us play the U-18s as well, or if there's a game at Yost, you could watch Michigan play instead.

EDIT: Michigan hosts Ferris on that Thursday and Friday.

Enjoy your senior year. It goes by entirely too fast, and you don't realize that for a few years.

Word is another strong recruiting class...maybe we can build on our 12-0-1 out of conference record last year and win some conference games.

I'm not sure what happened after the Northfield Savings Bank Tournament, but Manhattanville was one of the most impressive D-III teams I've seen during that tournament with two dominating wins over Adrian and Norwich.

Yeah, they beat the tar out of everyone that weekend.

Re: The Manhattanville Valiant 2011-2012 Season Thread

Best two games I've ever seen Manhattanville play...but they need to win conference games, plain and simple. They need underclassmen to step up after losing some key pieces.

you guys got any info on this RJay Berry player who was listed as a Valiant recruit on the commitment page but was now going to Oswego as per a newspaper article????

I am expecting for M'ville to return to form this year. Looking forward to an early report on Saturday.

Coach Levinthal thanks for 12 great seasons and a job well done @ M'ville. Good luck to Lang and let the season begin already!

Bump.

Are any of you planning to make the trip to Ann Arbor this weekend to see Manhattanville play the U-18's? There is a very good chance that I will also be making that trip.

Does that mean no more trap? Please please please.

Caught two great games in Ann Arbor over the weekend (FSU @ UM & U-18 vs Manhattenville) both entertaining.

As far as your no more trap comment. Don't count on it. I saw Manhattenville clog it up all night long to hang in there and to there credit pull out the victory. Maybe it's the NYC water.

Maybe Lang thought that was the only way to beat a team with 4 potential 1st round picks.
