Yaaassss
BREAKING: Georgie state Rep. Dar'shun Kendrick introduced a "testicular bill of rights" that bans vasectomy procedures and requires men to get permission from their sex partner before obtaining erectile dysfunction medication as a way to respond to anti-abortion legislation the state House passed.

Very nice. Fight these sanctimonious fascists with satire.

That's fantastic. They should start a bill like that in the House right now.

For me the point is worse...
That woman is immature...let's force her to have a kid.

Yeah, using children as a punishment sounds like something Jesus would do.

I'll bet not many trial judges support this. They (the ones I know) already dislike deciding family court matters.

Depends on their politics. Nothing gets a Right Wing Judge more excited than deciding cases like this one.

Trial judges and appellate judges are two different breeds of cat. Trial judges don't like this kind of decision making.

Men and women, young and old, native Texans and immigrants, they rose to ask lawmakers to protect life, describing a “genocide” and foreseeing the arrival of “God’s wrath.”

The act of public atonement they are seeking is passage of a bill that would criminalize abortion without exception, and make it possible to convict women who undergo the procedure of homicide, which can carry the death penalty in Texas. Though it faces steep odds of becoming law, the measure earned a hearing this week amid a larger legislative push in GOP-controlled states to curtail abortion rights, in a direct challenge to Roe v. Wade.

Further proof that this movement is pro fetus, not pro life.

Was watching some crap tv the other day that followed a woman that was pregnant with sextuplets. They spoke about selective reduction. Made me wonder how law makers and advocates pushing these types of bills would view that situation. If reducing the number of fetuses greatly increases the chance of survival for both mother and remaining fetus(es) do they still consider that murder?
If the family used fertility treatments to become pregnant, is it still God's will they have these all of these children? Wasn't it God's will they be infertile?

They used to be. Have you seen the numbskulls Mitch has been confirming?

Re: The "I Can't Believe There's No Abortion Thread" Abortion Thread

Yes, yes I have.

That's actually going to go very poorly for them. I don't think they realize that every legitimate constitutional law professor in this country for the last 40 years has been three sigma to the left of the average Democratic appellate court nominee.

The lex talionis these morons have opened up is not going to end well for them. The blathering butt hurt about "liberal activist judges" has hitherto been all nonsense.

Now we're going to actually do it. Well, we will if the AOCs beats the Nancys.
